The playground balancing log is a large ironbark log, (either round or square depending on availability) that is suspended between two posts using a secure chain connection. Our logs are sourced sustainably from local suppliers. The significant mass of the object provides a unique feeling of inertia when crossing. The hanging ropes provide some hand support.
MATERIALS
80-100mm diameter manila base rope, with 12mm galvanized steel cable core and hydraulically pressed eye attachment points. Braided polyester sailmaker's whipping. 16mm reinforced playground rope hand rope. All with stainless steel eye bolts for easy installation. Recycled dressed ironbark posts.
OPTIONS
Various lengths available. Hand rope comes in a variety of colors. Purchase with posts and installation, or ropes only.
